The Inka Magik Fair Trade shop has been established for the benefit of our network of talented artisans situated in rural and urban Peru. We aim to help the people who are producing them and benefit the consumer with our fair pricing structure. We value their handmade products and will deliver their goods through our website.

Peru boasts one of greatest diversities of arts andcrafts in the world, as can be seen from the growing network of exporters who exhibit the skill of Peruvian craftsmen in Europe, Asia and North America. The diversity, colour and creativity of Peru's folk art has made it a fundamental activity not just for Peru's cultural identity, but also as a way of life for thousands of families and even entire communities.

Works of art - both big and small - fire the imagination of Peruvians and foreigners alike, are steeped in centuries of history, imbued with pre-Hispanic shapes and symbols which have merged with others brought over by the Spanish.

The excellence of Peruvian artisans can be seen in the harmony of the geometric designs in textiles and jewellery. There are also finely carved stone sculptures, complex wooden carvings, beautiful gold & silver artefacts as well as intricate pottery.

These works are just some examples of a people who communicate freely through their art, using a language whose main characteristics are abundance, joy and confidence in the future.
