Most of the overseas flights arrive to Lima's airport very early in the morning 7am or very late in the evening 23hrs. It's important to make sure you have done the necessary arragements well ahead to organise your trip. For example when travelling to take a trek to Cuzco or visit any other Peruvian province, you will need to take a local flight connection which departures usually until middle afternoon time 15hrs. There are not evening flight connections from Lima to Cuzco or most of the Peruvian provinces.

Other alternative are local buses, but the lenght of travelling can be overwhelming for example when you travel from Lima to Cuzco it can take up to 16 hours to get into this city. Other examples are from Lima 12 hours to Arequipa, 14 hours to Trujillo, 9 hours to Chimbote, 5 hours to Ica etc. There are not buses to go into the Peruvian jungle, only local flights.
We suggest to most travellers to stay in Lima at the time of their arrival and stay a couple of days to adjust to time zones. Our Welcome Package to Lima offers you great venues for you to explore the city even better if you arrive during the weekends. An advantage of our Welcome Package is that our local team will be making your reservations and local flight bookings on your behalf at a minimun or not charge.
The Inka Team will be very happy to help you to organise your trip and any thing you need to make sure your visit to Peru is unforgetable.
