Learning Spanish in Peru
The Spanish language is globally spoken by about 400 million and it's the world's second most spoken language in term of native speakers and fourth in terms of total speakers. The most important advantage for you in learning Spanish is to strength your communication skills using another language meanwhile visiting Peru. It would also allow yourself to immerse in the cultural aspects of the Peruvian life or getting to know better Latin America.
You can learn Spanish by volunteering in any of our projects or during your staying in Lima and Cuzco.
Living and learning Spanish with Inka Magik

How long does it take to learn the language?
Our tutors will assess your gained knowledge of the Spanish language and draw an action plan for the development of your language skills. An advantage of our approach is that we run the language courses in very small groups or one to one level. Thus, from the started your Spanish tutor will give you the necessary support for you to practice and communicate within the locals. The length of the tutorial course run accordingly to your needs and satisfaction of the language development.
Content of the Spanish Course
The courses are fully taught in Spanish in order to learn, speak, practice and think in Spanish. This may initially require a little more attention and concentration but our experience has shown that this is the only way to grasp the language rapidly. Our Spanish courses adopt an interactive teaching approach and are encourage students to fully participate and contribute from the outset.

We would recommend that you take the chance to live as closely as possible to Peru's culture, language and daily life by staying with a local family, but you have the choice to stay at a local hostel. You will have lessons in small groups, or individualy classes with your teacher.
Spanish classes are starting from 15 hours a week but there is also the option to extend this to up to 20 or 30 hrs a week. Our best offer is 70 hrs of Spanish classes within a month. Course material is provided and cultural activities will be suggested in the choosen city.

Host Family
A Peruvian family will offer you the opportunity to practice your Spanish in a natural way, experiencing the daily, cultural, social life of Peruvians. The advantage of living with a peruvian family will be in getting familiar with the Spanish pronuntiation more quickly. In most cases families will also invitate you to interact with their friends or taking you to local parties. Living and Learning programme includes your room with hot shower in a local family house, meals (Breakfasts - Lunches) and Spanish classes every day, covering 15 hours per week, we recommend a minimum of 2 weeks.Cost per one week/15 hours of Spanish lessons $195.00 US including accommodation and food.
Cost per host family varies accordingly to the location, for example our host families in Cuzco are living near the major central square.At your local Hotel
We can suggest you to stay in some hotels near the city centre in Cuzco, all of them offering your a comfort to receive your lessons in place and because we want to feel you relaxed you can choose the time for your spanish lessons.Cost per one week/10 hours of Spanish $95.00 US
One month Spanish & Activities
You can learn Spanish living in a family house for a month and access to discounted tour activities such as trekking, climbing, biking, horseback riding, river rafting, canopy, cooking all of these tours in the South zone of Peru. Access to specific activities are at your own request and will be coordinating the time schedule of each guided excursion. Our host families will take care of your meals (Breakfasts - Lunches) and you will be receiving up to 70 hrs hours of Spanish classes for a month.Cost per month/70 hours of lessons $850.00 US
