Volunteering for Inka Magik gives you a unique insight into local Peruvian culture by getting fully involved in the local community by working for local organisations sponsored by us.
How do I get involved?
We welcome enthusiastic, communicative and positive people to get involved in our volunteering programmes based in Peru. Volunteers come from all walks of life with one thing in common - they all like to indulge in new experiences and face new challenges.
All programmes give you the option to take part in one of our our unique
eco-adventure tours.
What do I get from volunteering?
Volunteering in local communities in Peru offers you the fantastic opportunity to meet new people, develop new interests and gain new skills such as learning Spanish, leadership, teaching subjects that interest you or getting involved in project development. All of these are useful for expanding your job prospects.
An advantage of our volunteer projects is that any extra month or week you want to stay in Peru is pay directly by you to your host family. There is not other additional administrative cost and we will arrange your accommodation at a lower cost. The initial commitment is 2 weeks in most of our programmes which it will help us to keep runing the placements, our aim is to promote the sustainability of the community promoting as well as the concept of responsible tourism. Our main programmes offer opportunities for volunteers who wish to ge involved in areas of: education, health care and environmental projects. It is recommended that you book the treks at least 4 to 3 weeks in advance, unless you already in Peru. In this case we could develop your alternative tour but still it might take few days to get it organised.
